Thoughts: Surprising?? No. Upset? Yes! Can't Buy Me Love was alright...I personally do not think it deserves this award.
Even more upsetting.....A Fistful of Stances, When Lanes Merge and Ghost Writer did not make it into the top 5! *sigh* If TVB Horizon gives of it's own award....Best Series would've gone to No Regrets of A Fistful of Stances. Though I must say, surprisingly....A Chip off the Old Block is in the top 5!! I am happy though cause that was an enjoyable series ;) Also quite like Every Move You Make.
Ah! Also GMG!! So far, quite a good an entertaining series! So sad that it is rather under promoted! Now I wish that it wasn't an anniversary series....since it will at least have a chance next year instead.

Thoughts: Wayne is a very, very good actor....but I personally wanted Steven to win this year =/ Though I knew the chances were low, I still hoped he would.

Thoughts: As much as I love Fala, I thought Kara Hui is the more deserving win. Seeing how happy Fala was though, I am really happy for her =)

Thoughts: Aw! I am so happy for Evergreen!!! After so many years of acting, he finally got the recognition! Haha, kinda remind me of Wayne's award a few years ago. Evergreen had always been a very good actor. Hopefully there will be a bright road ahead of him ;)
Thoughts: Defintely not a surprise here! Super happy for Raymond and will look forward to his future series! Ever since When Lanes Merge, I've been really liking him and he's slowly rising up to my fav. actor list ;)
MOST IMPROVED ACTRESS - Natalie Tong
Thoughts: Congrats to Natalie!!!! Her role in Fistful really boosted her popularity ;) I've always liked her and do look forward to her future series! Though I am kinda sad for Selena =( Selena should've won the award last year....hopefully she will get a chance next year.

Thoughts: Though I liked Charmaine's character in Can't Buy Me Love, my favorite of the year is still Siu-Tsui (Fala Chen is Ghost Writer). I am really sad that her character wasn't nominated =(

Thoughts: I wonder why tvb even added this award? It's just basically the prize for the one who doesn't get the Best Actress or Best Actor....

Thoughts: Unexpected....isn't Louis a bit young to get this award?

I think CBML deserved the award, it was a good comedy series and since tvb awards are "fixed" they couldn't let No regrets win everything (best actress, actor, supporting actor, supporting actress, most improved actor) seriously they won every freaking category! lol save some for the other people! :P
ahahahah "save some for the other peoples". i though cbml was a good comedy series but still not up to par with no regrets. saying that i do enjoy watching can't buy me love though....ahahah and about ur "save" quote. last year rosy business swept away all the awards lol..
i didn't like CBML. NR was the better series through and through. NR is totally robbed of the best drama award, like how sheren was robbed of her best actress in WAB amd LFD (if not she could have gotten 4 freaking best actress awards for goodness sake!).
tvb is such a bitch, sometimes.
CBML was good and was enjoyable but to consider it as the "Best Series" of the year, it does not deserve the award. No Regrets won most of the categories was more because they deserved them...(though there were some I didn't agree on (as stated in the post)).
If giving out awards is just to make the "people/artiste" happy....then the awards are soon going to become a meaningless event =/
In the end though, I don't think the awards matter so much anymore....it's more of what the audience thinks =) And that's what should really matter to the artiste ;) (since there are always unfairness in tvb awards anyways xP)
Haha, every year....there would be the ones who does deserve the award but always the ones who doesn't either. Love and hate relationship towards tvb xP haha....
